The Intermountain Wakeboard Association (IWA) wrapped up their 3rd season Saturday, January 19th, with their Member Awards Night at Mo’s Neighborhood Grill in downtown Salt Lake City.  Despite the cold weather and traffic, many members made it to the event and had a great time.  As many have been members of the association since the first season in 2005, the mood was amiable as families and friends came together once again to congratulate the winners and talk about the upcoming season.  “When I saw the announcement about the Awards night, it made me almost forget about winter and got me excited about summer and wakeboarding again!” said Janice Bagley, mother and great supporter of two of the member riders. 

Clayton Barlow, Director, repetitively attributes much of the IWA’s success to the generous sponsors, including, Marine Products, Hyperlite, Utah State Parks, Reef, The Projects, Jet-Pilot, Straightline, Skull Candy, No Fear, Quicksilver, X-Balm, Dive Utah and Catalyst, and welcomes all the new sponsors who will be coming on board this year.
